A: As you can see in my resume, I have plenty of experience as a space aeronautics engineer, working for Bonbardier in Montreal for five years, and then NASA for seven. After I left NASA, I decided to complete my Ph.D. Space Shuttle Design at Harvard University in Boston.
B: Harvard, eh? How long did that take you?
A: I did it in two and a half years. On the back of my resume I’ve attached a letter of recommendation from my thesis advisor. There is also a list of the books I have published on Shuttle re-entry theories, as well as Satellite recovery.
B: Yes I see. Hmmm . . . Do you have any experience as an office assistant?
A: An office assistant? Ah, actually no.
B: No eh? Well, thank you for your time, and thank you for showing interest in our company. We’ll let you know if a position becomes available for you. At this time I’d like to wish you luck in your job search.

A : 사무보조원이요? 아, 사실은 없습니다.
B : 없다고요? 시간 내주시고 우리 회사에 관심을 보여주신 점 감사합니다. 자리가 나면 연락 드리겠습니다. 현재로서는 직장을 구하는데 행운이 있기를 바랍니다.
